First Aid Awareness
This two-and-a-half hour course is designed to give individuals a basic awareness of first aid, without the need for a formal assessment.
School assistants, volunteers and community groups are the main beneficiaries of this type of course.
Attendees will cover the following topics:
- Action in an emergency
- Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (Adult)
- Safe Use of an AED
- Unconscious patient
- Choking
A certificate will be issued to acknowledge attendance, however this course does not meet the requirements for First Aid at Work Certification.
Available as an in-house course, for up to 12 people per trainer.
